2008 Annual Meeting - March 27 & 28, 2008.
2008 Annual Meeting: The 35th Annual Meeting of the VAE will take place in Lexington, Virginia, on March 27 and 28, 2008. Our Annual Meetings feature presentations on the Virginia and national economies, as well as papers by economists and analysts from across the Commonwealth. Please see the "Event Program" below for details about the material being presented this year.
Each year, the highlight of the conference is the William A. Sandridge Lecture andthe accompanying dinner banquet. The 2008 Sandridge Lecturer will be Dr. Frederic S. Mishkin, a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. (Click HERE for Dr. Mishkin's bio.) The title of Dr. Mishkin's presentation will be "Comfort Zones."
